Bridge can't communicate with your SPT GPS, usually due to one of the following:
- It's not turned on
- It's not plugged in
- USB drivers are not installed.
Making sure your device is actually on:
Make sure the device is turned ON before you plug it in NOTE: Your device is only on if there are some lights on while it is not plugged in. When you plug-in a powered off device, the battery light turns on to indicate charging, but this does NOT mean the device is actually on.
Installing the drivers manually:
This error can also occur if the USB drivers for your computer are not properly installed. We've written an article explaining how to manually install the USB drivers.
